Alison Rollman (pronouns - she/her)
is a Brooklyn-based wellness practitioner.
My work's focus is supporting you in sustaining wellbeing.
To me, wellbeing is centeredness within yourself and among community.
It isn't something we achieve once. It's ongoing.
Wellbeing requires support. And it certainly isn't just about your physical health.
I've been trained in a variety of tools to support my clients with
wellbeing from a holistic perspective. I'd love to be part of your journey.
I came to yoga and meditation as a twelve year old -- stressed while studying for my Bat Mitzvah
(Jewish coming of age ceremony) and seeking a way to decompress.
Since then, I've worked as a lead social emotional learning and facilitation trainer with Breathe for Change, a yoga teacher training program for educators, and have taught yoga and meditation
at a variety of studios and community spaces.
I have a strong passion for social justice and equity and love incorporating
those themes into my work. I am convinced that liberation is going to take a whole lot of self-compassion, breath awareness, and connection - both within our own minds and bodies
and in the world at large.
This work is ultimately about how we show up - restoring clarity with ourselves
so we can live in our fullness and for a better, more just world.
